Each year we open to support Lubbock residents who need help filing their taxes. This is a free service.
How We Serve Our Community
When tax season arrives, volunteers with CCAV’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program dedicate themselves to preparing hundreds of tax returns for West Texas residents in need. With the help of many community partners, these IRS-certified volunteers return over a million dollars to our community and save our co-workers, neighbors, and friends hundreds of thousands of dollars in tax preparation fees.

Come in during our open business hours and let our volunteers prepare your tax return in person.
Drop-Off Tax Prep
Don’t have time? Drop off your information and come back to sign and review your return when it is completed.
